The RedRock TH 500 S suits many purposes

Van der Koppel in Meteren have been using their new Redrock TH 500 S for six weeks. By now, the machine has been running for 160 hours. Van der Koppel are operating in the field of livestock transport and contracting. The company also has a small herd of beef cattle. The new TH 500 S is particularly used in the contracting branch of the business. “Work came flooding in from unexpected sources once we started using the machine in our business", says Van der Koppel.

As an entrepreneur, he has nothing but praise for the machine. “Rolling the silage clamp is a breeze and earth movement is also an easy job beyond our expectations. The driver has a good view of the bucket, which makes his job very pleasant. The controls are also very convenient.”

The machine was bought for several reasons. “Occasionally we have to load trucks, in which case the tipping height becomes an important issue. The 5.2 m tipping height of the Redrock meets our requirement. The weight of the machine was an important factor when rolling the clamp. We were after a telescopic loader in excess of 10 tonnes, and the Redrock meets that requirement. In combination with the large ground clearance, it is an ideal machine to suit many purposes.”

We discovered the machine at the agricultural fair in Den Bosch. At first we were after a new tractor, but after the front-end loader broke down within two years, we decided on a telescopic loader. At the trade fair we saw the TH 280 S, and from there we moved on to the TH 500 S. “The machine is just as robust, sound and powerful as it looks.”
